MODO TEQUILA Dark Side Campaign
VWA was challenged with launching the world’s first black premium tequila with a very limited budget. The product is aged in charred barrels like bourbon giving it a smooth taste and caramel color. The color is unlike any other tequila on the market. Given the challenge, VWA decided to embrace the mystery of the color by inviting consumers to embrace their own dark side because inside every good person is a delightfully bad one trying to get out. The campaign using social, on-premise print and in restaurant activations created a passionate following and helped this young brand extend distribution into new markets.
